Indoor booth guidelines
For markets held indoors, where no canopy or umbrella is needed.
These apply to markets at: Foothills.
Your booth space
This is an indoor market. Canopies, tents and patio umbrellas are not permitted, and you do not need to bring shade or weather protection of any kind.
You must stay within your assigned booth footprint for the whole market. That includes your table, your display, your stock and yourself. Nothing may extend into a walkway or into a neighbouring space.
Tables and coverings
Table legs must be fully covered on every side a customer can see, with a clean tablecloth that reaches the floor or is fitted to the table. Coverings should be white, tan, cream, beige, black or another soft solid colour that complements your brand.
Bright colours, neon shades, busy patterns and plastic coverings are not permitted. If you are unsure whether a covering meets this standard, email us a photograph before the market and we will tell you.
Signage and display
Signage should be professionally printed or carefully hand-made. Plastic A-frames are not permitted.
Your display must sit within your assigned booth footprint rather than spreading into walkways or a neighbour's space. Keep it looking considered and cohesive for the full run of the market, not only at opening.
Keeping your booth tidy
Boxes, storage bins, packaging, personal belongings and spare stock must be kept out of public view, under your table or neatly within your own space.
Before you leave, remove all rubbish, boxes and packaging, and leave your space as you found it. A booth left uncleared incurs a $25 cleanup fee, payable before you can book another market.
Requesting an exception
If you want to use a covering or display element that does not meet these rules, email us before the market with photographs and a short explanation.
Exceptions are considered case by case, are never guaranteed, and take effect only once we have confirmed them in writing. If you have been granted one, be ready to show that written approval when you check in.
These apply alongside the vendor agreement. Questions about your setup? Email info@themakershivemarket.com before the market.
